Wireless Systems Engineer


Description

 As part of the Ultra Mobility Group, (UMG), organization inside the System Engineering Team, your mission will consist to support the connectivity effort on actual development platform based on ATOM processor targeting MID/Smartphone market. Connectivity features embrace BT, WLAN, GPS, FM, NFC and Mobile TV and you will be in charge to proactively study, evaluate and prototype some of those technologies for future platform definition. You will be also involved in technology survey and advanced development to ensure competitiveness of INTEL's solution from a feature and performance perspectives. 

You will work in the following area: 
Contribute to the specification/definition of our next platform, simulate and validate them at system level 
Contribute to the overall Connectivity Architecture 
Support our customer in order to help them to migrate to the new platform 
Prototype new technologies with early integration 
Measure key performances areas for the different features, including CPU load, throughput, power consumption.
 

Qualifications

 The successful candidate is expected to offer most of the following: 

Experience in the mobile phone or related business through internship 
Good programming skills in C in Linux RT. 
Capable to have a high level view, adaptability and flexibility 
Experience in embedded software development for Linux drivers, in real-time environment. 
Experience in Mobile Phone platforms is a big plus. 
Experience with modeling environments (CoFluent, UML) is a plus. 
Excellent writing, communication and presentation skills. 
Dynamic personality, innovative, capable to have a high level view of a problem 
Good methodology and organization of the work 
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunication or related field. 
Fluent in English.
