In this position, you will be joining the IAG Visual Computing Group (VCG) microarchitecture performance team chartered with providing performance guidance in advance of key design milestones and verifying the final design satisfies key performance specifications. The responsibilities include modeling performance simulator in C++, developing and/or debugging graphics performance tests, analyzing test results and identifying any performance bottleneck in the GPU architecture.
You must possess a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline with 3+ years of related experience. Preferred would be a Masters or Ph.D Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
Additional preferred qualifications include:
- Strong C++ design/debug experience, good hardware and computer architecture knowledge as well as some 3D graphics experience
- Experience in SystemC and boost would be an added advantage
