  • Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking an experienced Systems Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Developer for a Modeling and Simulation (M&S) position in Orlando FL. This position is strongly focused on HWIL Development.

    Key activities for this role will include:

    - Build-up of a new HWIL,

    - Integration and testing new simulation models,

    - Scenario development,

    - Pre-flight and post-flight analysis, and

    - Verification and validation of new models.

    - Perform trade studies and simulation analyses with the objective of enhancing and optimizing system performance capability.

The Greater Orlando metropolitan area is the sixth largest metro area in the southeastern United States. The climate here is warm and sunny all year long for the most part. Orlando is home to Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Florida, and SeaWorld. Orlando is also home to the second largest University in the US, the University of Central Florida (UCF). Where can you get to from Orlando? Orlando is about an hour's drive from Cocoa Beach and the "space coast" to include NASA and the Kennedy Space Center. Tampa is about 1.5 hours from Orlando. West Palm Beach is about 2.5 hours to the south and Jacksonville is about 2 hours to the northeast. Atlanta, GA is 6 hours to the northwest.

    MFCREFER - Mod/Sim

    Basic Qualifications:

    Experience in missile weapon systems/HWIL..

    Experience in using HWIL to stimulate tactical hardware.

    Must be proficient in MATLAB.

    Have strong communication skills and must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment integrating tactical hardware.

    Demonstrate the ability to design a high-fidelity system simulation capable of predicting system pre-deployment performance.

    Experience performing modeling and simulation tasks for system survivability, Safety of Flight (SOF), and end-to-end battle management systems (BMS).

    Integrate guidance, navigation and autopilot algorithms into a high-fidelity IFS.

    Demonstrate capability with both IR and RF threat modeling.

    Must hold a Secret clearance with a background investigation within the last 5 years.

    Desired Skills:

    Prior experience with threat modeling.

    Experience with C++
