    Duncan-Parnell is growing and adding a GIS Sales and Business Development position to our Geospatial division. This position is responsible for exploring and providing solutions and services to the GIS, Utility and Environmental markets in central and western Virginia, West Virginia and western Maryland for mobile deployment, geospatial data collection and utility management. These solutions will be focused on the Trimble, Trimble Water and Spectra Precision MGIS products lines along with Duncan-Parnell and ESRI GIS solutions.
    Essential Functions and Duties
    • Understand the “in-field” geospatial needs of our entire client base
    • Demonstrate the solutions (as mentioned above) to existing and new clients
    • Develop workflows and processes; implement these for the client
    • Sell and provide first tier technical support of these solutions
    • Research and promote the best geospatial solutions available based on the needs of the client
    • Ability to develop a plan for the territory and work the plan aggressively
    • Deal with customers and employees in a positive, proactive manner
    • Ability to network, technically present and develop unrecognized client potentials
    • Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
    • Good time-manager with ability to multi-task, self-prioritize and meet deadlines. 
    • Work independently, self-motivated
    • Extremely organized with strong follow-up skills
    • Travel required, 40%-50% potential
    • 1– 3 years similar work experience in sales or related technical background
    • Work experience and proficiency in MS Office applications, including Teams, Excel and Outlook.
    • Degree in Business or GIS related field a plus
    • ESRI software experience a plus
