Come and join us! Intel is seeking highly qualified candidates to join our Data Platforms Group (DPG) as a Pre-Silicon Design Verification Engineer!
Join a creative team of engineers in the Ethernet Silicon engineering group, dedicated to designing the hardware technologies that network the leading cloud-service and telecommunication datacenters. We are looking for motivated and astute individuals to join our team as Pre-Si Design Verification Engineers. You will join a close-knit team responsible for creating and maintaining test benches in multiple languages, writing test plans and tests, analyzing coverage and regressions, and filing bugs for a high-performance messaging IP.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
<ul>
<li>Develops Pre-Silicon functional validation tests to verify system will meet design requirements.</li>
<li>Creates test plans for RTL validation.</li>
<li>Defining and running system simulation models.</li>
<li>Finding and implementing corrective measures for failing RTL tests.</li>
<li>Analyzes and uses results to modify testing.</li>
</ul>

The Data Platforms Group drives new products technologies from high-end co-processors for supercomputers to low-energy systems for enterprise and the cloud, as well as solutions for big data and intelligent devices. The group is a worldwide organization that develops the products and technologies that power 9 of every 10 servers sold worldwide.
Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 6 years of industry work experience, or a Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 2 years of industry work experience.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>3 plus years of experience in relevant Pre-Silicon validation position, having gone through multiple project cycles to gather in-depth experience.</li>
<li>3 plus years of experience in logic design/verification with various tools and methodologies including: System Verilog, Perl, OVM/UVM, logic simulators, Coverage Tools.</li>
</ul>
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Experience with TCP/IP.</li>
<li>Experience with Remote Direct Memory Access protocols e.g. iWARP or RoCE.</li>
<li>Experience with Emulation.</li>
</ul>
